Bitcoin started quietly, in the middle of the 2008 financial crisis, without announcement or audience. Most people still find it by accident. The Satoshi Archive exists so the next person doesn't have to dig through forums to understand what actually happened.
Why this exists
The Satoshi Archive is a permanent home for Bitcoin's story and context. It grew out of The Game of Satoshi: a three-month seasonal event where players decode missions, unlock episodes, and race for a real Bitcoin prize.
Game of Satoshi runs three months a year. The other nine months, the archive still needs a reason to exist. That's what TSA is: the year-round container, with the game as the seasonal event inside it.
Between seasons, the archive grows differently: interviews with builders and people who touched the network early, long-form episodes on stories worth remembering, and content that earns its place by being preserved well, not by being new.
Who's keeping it
Marek. Bitcoiner for several years, now running BGS (Bitcoin Growth Strategy), a coaching practice for Bitcoin-native businesses. Stoic by disposition, systems-thinker by habit.
I'm not the person who'll explain consensus mechanics to you. There are people who do that better. What I can do is go backwards through Bitcoin's history carefully, figure out what actually happened, and pass it on in a form that holds up.
The more I understand how Bitcoin works, the more convinced I am that it's the most honest shot we have at a better world. But who knows.
Who this is for
Global audience. Built originally for the Bitcoin-curious (people who've heard the word enough times to want to know what it actually is) but sharpened over time into something most useful for bitcoiners who want to keep what they've learned.
What this is not: news, catastrophe scenarios, market analysis, trading calls. Those already exist in a hundred places. This archive preserves. It's a record. If you want to know what Bitcoin is doing next week, go somewhere else. If you want to know what it is, start from the beginning and work forward.
What's next: Season 2
Season 2 drops Q4 of 2026. Same narrative spine, sharper execution, and missions that go deeper into what Bitcoin actually is, not what it costs this week.
Between now and then, the archive keeps growing. New interviews with builders and people who were there early. Long-form editorial on moments worth remembering properly.
